CremonaSoft A310 Updated to v1.6.2

Releasing on November 30th, CremonaSoft have quietly update their A310 recreation to version 1.6.2, with the addition of a freighter variant being the main drawcard of the new version.

Currently the freighter variant extends only to the exterior of the aircraft, as no ‘cabin model’ has been implemented in the cargo aircraft.

Additionally, new liveries have been added alongside the release of a paintkit, something absent from the aircraft since release back in October 2018.

For more minor changes, exterior lighting has been adjusted as well as an error with XChecklist functionality with the product.

The full changelog is available below:

  • Refined 3D model dimensions of aircraft cockpit and nose section (internal + external)
  • Fixed Xchecklist definition file errors
  • Enhanced external 3D lighting (strobes/nav/beacon)
  • Added A310 freighter variant (external model only- no cabin model yet)
  • Added new liveries
  • Added paint kit

In other A310 news, iniBuilds have come out teasing their own rendition of Airbus’ second aircraft, with an in-simulator screenshot of a wingtip surfacing today. You can learn more about that in a previous article.

Version 1.6.2 of the Cremonasoft A310 is available for free from the X-Plane.org Store for existing customers  – new users can purchase it from the same place for a sale price of $49.95 USD (usually $59.95).
