Aerobask has released a set of new images for their upcoming Diamond-DA62, all of which looks incredible. The Diamond DA62 is a five to seven seat, twin-engined light aircraft produced by Diamond Aircraft Industries. The DA62 series is powered by the Austro Engine AE330. A turbocharged common-rail injected 2.0 liter jet fuel engine, with 180 HP and a EECU single lever control system. As confirmed by the developer on the support forum, a release can be expected around the Middle of March.
Beginning with the visuals, the DA62 continues Aerobask’s repute for stylistic visuals, one of the visual highlights is that the team has nailed the silver metallic red paint effect. Like the Cessna Dragonfly released earlier this week, the Flightmodel is done by the experts at X-Aerodynamics, very closely matching real performance, based on public data. With native VR support right out of the first release and a fully functional 3d cockpit. Becoming the norm here, FMOD sounds are integrated but expanded to simulate Doppler and Flanger effects. Laminar’s Garmin G1000 is integrated into the 3d cockpit, other system features include the oxygen system, ice protection system and a Customised FADEC/ECU with test procedures Unique visuals include windshield effects and configurable pilots, passengers and baggage.
