Mad Flight Studio Publishes New Antonov An-26 Previews

Mad Flight Studio developer Markus Krichenko has just published new previews of their upcoming Antonov An-26 airliner for X-Plane 11 on Mad Flight’s Facebook group

The Antonov An-26 is very well-known all around the world for its iconic Soviet-era look and its outstanding reliability for operations on unprepared runways and rugged terrain. After its first flight in 1970, the aircraft has been produced over 1,400 times and is still being used all around the world by both civilian and military operators. The aircraft was also produced under licence in China under the name of Xian Y-14.

The Russian developer Mad Flight Studio announced this project in January of last year and since then, significant progress can be noticed. This time, pictures of the cockpit at night were published. Can be seen in the first screenshot is the flight engineer’s panel and in the other screenshots different close-ups of gauges, signs and floodlights demonstrating the aeroplane’s night lighting. Even though the cockpit is in Cyrillic in the previews, an English version will be included in the final product.

Mad Flight Studio also announced the development of an Antonov An-148, check out our article covering it. We reviewed the company’s first product, the SP-30 which is available for purchase on the Threshold Store.
