Earlier this week, multi-sim developer Aerosoft released its rendition of Sandnessjøen-Stokka Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The scenery contains high quality textures, detailed models, customized lighting, and much more – according to the store page.
Aerosoft also provided a feature list, and it reads as follows:
- Custom, highly detailed models for all airport buildings, including VOR and Localizer equipment, as well as buildings surrounding the airport
- Highly detailed interior for the departure hall, entrance area and tower
- Reworked terrain and vegetation
- Custom ground textures, including grooved runway
- Realistic night lighting
- Custom models for all taxiway, runway and approach lights
- PBR textures
Located in Northern Norway, Sandnessjøen-Stokka serves the town of Sandnessjøen as a regional airport. It is connected to nearby communities by Dash 8 aircraft operated by Widerøe.
