Aerosoft has recently published their latest scenery for X-Plane, Menorca Airport. The scenery seeks to provide users with an accurate representation of the island of Menorca and its international airport. Moreover, the scenery features dynamic lighting and satellite imagery covering the entire island, providing for a realistic rendition of the island and its towns.

The real airport opened its doors in March 1969, taking over passenger services from the neighbouring San Luis Airport. Nowadays, the airport is served by a plethora of airlines transporting tourists and locals to other major hubs within the western hemisphere. The airport features a single 2550 meter runway, requiring a carefully planned approach and landing if you want to avoid missing your marks.

The scenery has not been developed by Aerosoft’s in-house team, but rather is a collaboration between Sim-wings and Windsock Simulation (where Aerosoft serves as the publisher). The product features autogen buildings and vegetation covering the aerial image area, providing for stunning views when you’re high-up overflying the airport. Combined with the accurate buildings and facilities the airport ships with, the scenery makes for a realistic rendition of the airport.
