Aerosoft Releases Bali Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator

Well respected multi-sim developers, Aerosoft, have released their rendition of Ngurah Rai International Airport (WADD) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The airport, more commonly known as Bali is located in Indonesia and is renowned for its stunning approach. This follows the release of their Berlin Brandenberg only 2 days ago, and also that of their popular CRJ 550/700, also for Microsoft Flight Simulator which was published just 9 days ago.

“Thanks to a recent overhaul, it is equipped with entirely new, modern international terminal facilities. The surrounding area of the airport used to be pure forest/jungle but has since been built densely with housing/hotels and numerous small buildings” Aerosoft states.

Here’s the full feature list:

  • Custom aerial image for airport and surrounding
  • Custom made ground details and textures for aprons, taxiways and runways for a realistic depiction of the layout
  • Detailed models of airport buildings with PBR materials
  • Realistic looking surrounding scenery with custom, Bali-style buildings
  • Airport layout and terminal updated to reflect the late 2020 – early 2021 situation of the airport, with new buildings, such as the new south control-tower
  • Animated jetways
  • Dynamic night-lighting
  • Optimized for Performance

Bali airport serves many international and domestic airlines, a runway extension out to the sea has made it possible for the airport to accept heavy aircraft, such as the Airbus A330, Boeing 747 and 777, among others.

The scenery takes up a hefty 3GB of storage once fully installed into the simulator. The developers recommend at least 2GB of VRAM.

You can purchase Aerosoft’s Bali for Microsoft Flight Simulator for €20.12 (including 20% tax) on the Aerosoft Store.
