Aerosoft Publishes DSky’s Boa Vista’s Aristides Pereira Airport for MSFS

Aerosoft has unceremoniously released Boa Vista Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator, formally known as “Aristides Pereira International Airport”. Developed by “DSky”, the development team is known for their island-centric destinations in MSFS, with notable past releases such as the two part Grenadines Islands sceneries, and No Be Island off the coast of Madagascar. For Boa Vista, users can expect the same level of work seen in their previous releases.

The real airport serves the island of Boa Vista, which is part of the Cape Verde archipelago (also an island country in the central Atlantic Ocean). The entire archipelago contains ten islands, of which Boa Vista is the third largest and the easternmost landmass of the islands. Neighbouring Senegal is located just 450 km from the island. Seeing over half a million passengers travelling through the airport in 2019, it is the second largest airfield to which 15 carriers are currently serving the airport.

Not much detail can be construed from the feature list, but it describes a product in-line with a modern scenery release for the simulator. The rendition stretches beyond the airport to include a couple of Points of Interest landmarks within the island. Inside the airport premises, the scenery is built up with “High resolution buildings” and populated with detailed clutter, all of which are appropriately lit up at night. Here is the original feature list:

  • Accurate and detailed rendition Boa Vista Aristides Pereira International Airport (GVBA)
  • High-resolution buildings and clutter objects PBR
  • Optimized for great performance and visual quality
  • Night lighting on buildings
  • POI on island

The airport has a price of €12.92, and users will need to use Aerosoft’s dedicated product manager “Aerosoft One” to install Boa Vista.
