iniBuilds has posted a trailer showcasing Xometry Designs new project, West Virginia International Yeager Airport for X-Plane 11. The airport serves as the newest addition to Xometrys expanding range of products, which now include Victorville, Punta Delgada, Eagle County and West Virginia International Airport. Yeager Airport will take advantage of X-Plane 11s technology by featuring high resolution ground textures, PBR, SAM jetways alongside other luxuries.

Otherwise known as McLaughlin Air National Guard Base, West Virginia Yeager International airport is a dual-purpose airport, served both by the military and commercial airline operators. Carriers that currently provide flights to the airport include American Eagle, Delta Airlines, Delta Connection, Spirit Airlines and United Express. It’s also imperative to mention that the geography of the airport is unique, as it sits on a hilltop 300 feet (100 meters) above the lower Charleston metropolitan area providing for a cool approach.
Reverting back to the X-Plane variant of the airport, iniBuilds provided this features list:
- High resolution ground textures
- PBR
- Realistic wear and tear
- Accurately placed models
- SAM jetways and marshallers
- Accurately placed vegetation

Whilst iniBuilds hasn’t provided a specific release date for the airport, they’ve detailed that the airport is “coming soon”. Once available for purchase, iniBuilds will publish Yeager Airport to their store for £15.49/€18.43/$20.77. Make sure to monitor Threshold in the forthcoming future in anticipation of the airports release.
