Drzewiecki Design Releases Tokyo Narita for X-Plane

Drzewiecki Design has just released the first product of their Tokyo Airport and City series first announced on the 23rd of July 2019, Tokyo Narita for X-Plane 11.

Located near Japan’s capital, Narita International Airport (RJAA) is the country’s second busiest airport after Tokyo Haneda. Opened in 1978, the airport rapidly grew into an international hub taking relieving the city’s primary airport. Narita has two runways, 2500 meters and 4000 meters respectively allowing it to handle most intercontinental passenger and cargo traffic.

The add-on features a realistic model of Narita Airport, optional static aircraft, PBR material and much more. The developer has indicated that much effort has been put in improving user performance, which has often been an issue in previous Drzewicki releases. Animated jetways, marshallers and VGDS are also included thanks to the SAM plug-in. The feature list is available below:

  • High quality model of RJAA Narita airport in Tokyo, with extensive details throughout the whole airport
  • Performance-friendly interior modeling at terminal buildings, control towers, and some hangars
  • Optional static aircraft, advanced lighting, extensive mesh design with precise runway vertical profiles, PBR materials, significant orthophoto coverage
  • Animated jetways, VGDS, marshallers, custom animated vehicles
