Renowned developer Digital Design has released their next addition to a large line of sceneries.
This time it is the turn of Sochi-Adler (URSS). Located on the Black sea coast, the airport sees over 5 million passengers per year, with services from Aeroflot, Nordwind and Rossiya, among many other popular eastern European carriers.
The airport is located in a very interesting position, with the Caucasus mountains to the immediate north, making arriving and departing a dangerous affair. Landing is only possible from 1 end of the airport, onto either
Back in 2014, Sochi was the capital of the winter Olympics and this has, in true Digital Design style, been faithfully recreated in this rendition, along with the Formula 1 circuit, with custom night lighting giving a unique feeling as you approach the airport
Also included in the scenery are animated 3d people, custom jetways and a custom slope for the runway, accurate of course to the real airport. All whilst maintaining a friendly frame rate.
From the screenshots, the scenery looks incredibly detailed, with very high-resolution textures being used on carefully crafted objects.
