New developer InDepthSimulations (IDS) has been hard at work on their Dash 8 Q300 since we last saw them in October. New previews of both the exterior and interior model have arisen during the last few months, with a particular focus on the cockpit.

We reached out to head developer Brady Margeson over at IDS for comment on the aircraft, to which he responded, “[The] cockpit model is roughly 75% done, exterior has a couple little touch ups, and the nose gear will be the last [item] to tackle. The whole thing is coming together really well, and overall we are very happy with what we’ve accomplished.”

InDepthSimulations is in a now very crowded development field for the Dash 8 series, with fellow developers FlyJSim developing a Q400, and Skyline Simulations developing the Q100, 200, and 300 series respectively. All three developers intend to make their Dash 8s payware aircraft.

That’s all we’ve got for now from InDepthSimulations, we’ll make sure to let you know of more developments as they happen. If you’d like frequent insider updates from IDS, make sure to join their Discord here. To view previous articles about InDepthSimulations, click here.
