





Cedric Gauche, developer of the very popular EDDK freeware scenery has announced a version 3 of the project. Version 2 released about a week ago, and Gauche is hard at work at V3. The announcement was made via a post to the ‘.org forums earlier today.
In the post, he says;
We are working on a update for our EDDK v2 scenery
The new update features:
– Custom mesh (sloped runways)
– 20cm resolution orthophoto
– Better performance
– Reworked Tower with beacon
– New Terminal 1 Textures
– Zero G object near P2
– Fixed green color bug at firestation
– New Terminal 2 connections to P2
– Cargo area reworked with much more objects and night lightning
– optimized parking positions for real airline operations (removed Air Berlin and Lufthansa Jets)
– new buildings
– reworked parking lightning
– reworked facades suroundings
– fixed missed taxisigns
– fixed exclusions
– new forest
– new fence
– new Parkingpositions (G)
In addition to this, he added that V3 of EDDK will release in 1-2 months as freeware. You can view the post here.
