FSimStudios Share 2021 Roadmap

Six main items feature on FSimStudios’ 2021 plans, including four airport projects and two administrative features coming throughout the year.

The first of these items is actually already out, with the developer unveiling a brand new website at the same time as this roadmap announcement went out.

“Just launched minutes ago, the new website will provide a better customer experience, from the webstore to our new support centre.”

“We have transitioned out from email customer support to a ticketing solution, that we expect to be more efficient,” they said.

The next item on the agenda for the developer will be a centralised application for downloading, configuring, updating and removing their products. This platform is dubbed ‘FSimStudios Manager’ and will also feature partner products.

It’s not clear which other developers will see their products on the new application. FSimStudios expect the product to be completed ‘in just a few months.’

Now, on to the scenery news. First up is Vancouver for Microsoft Flight Simulator, which is now just a few days away from release.

They say the conversion process had been delayed due to ‘a number of issues’, however, they have now all been fixed and the scenery is in its final stages of development.

Halifax Airport (CYHZ) is also set to feature in Q1 2021, though it’s not clear which platforms this airport will release for on launch day.

Both Calgary (CYYC) and London (CYXU) are slated for Q2 or later 2021, along with ‘other projects’ which will see their own announcements soon.
