iniScene Releases Kerry Airport for MSFS

Following the initial announcement a couple of days back, iniScene has released their latest product for MSFS, Kerry Airport. The scenery is a rework and conversion of Boundless Simulations’ Kerry airport and seeks to provide users with a beautiful, yet challenging international airport near the coast of Ireland. Featuring highly optimised, yet detailed buildings, the scenery provides for a highly immersive rendition of the airport.

Kerry Airport (sometimes referred to as Farranfore Airport) is an international airport located near the coast of Ireland, connecting residents and tourists to other locations in the western hemisphere. For a number of years, the airport was mostly used by general aviation aircraft and occasional cargo flights. Nowadays, the airport is mainly served by Ryanair, flying regularly scheduled services to other hubs in Europe.

The scenery has not been developed by iniScene from the ground up, but rather is a re-development of Boundless Simulations’ previously released Kerry Airport for X-Plane. A lot of hours went into faithfully replicating the custom airside and landside ground polygons, as well as the hand placed vegetation and buildings. Paired with the high-resolution PBR textures, the airport makes for a highly immersive, optimized environment for the user to fly into.

The full feature list can be found here:

  • Level of Detail (LOD) optimisation for every model to encourage the best performance possible
  • Compiled and optimised for Xbox Series X and S
  • Custom airside and landside ground polygons with accurate texturing
  • Corrected tree masking on airport surrounds
  • Hand placed, in-house designed car models, light posts, vegetation and buildings
  • Taxi signs as they are in the real world
  • Bespoke airside rendition with bespoke objects and ground markings

iniScene’s rework of Kerry airport is now available for $13,75 on the iniBuilds store.
