On Facebook and Twitter, the team has taken to their social media to publish a couple other shots highlighting the underside of their upcoming 777v2, specifically the locale of several service hatches on the aircraft’s belly. It is also an indirect sign that FlightFactor is going on all cylinders to deliver the most complete digital replica of the real aircraft, and with these teasers – it’s part of the team’s hatched plan to generate more hype for the airplane (sorry). Earlier this month, the team teased with screenshots of the flightdeck, which was extremely well received. One of the images also demonstrates the team’s intricate effort on modelling the landing gears, with essentially all of the wiring modelled in and animated:

The hatches are shown to be replicated with a high level of detail, each door has its latches modelled and the piston arm, instructional stickers are textured on the inner face of the hatch doors, inside the opening, equal amount of effort was put to model the controls and components:

Another screenshot features the front section of the fuselage, demonstrating the heavy use of decalcomania to provide optimal resolution to the labelling across the fuselage, mostly concentrated on the surface of the cargo door, and of course the intricate work applied to the small hatches:

Lastly, this shot reveals another angle of the underside with the hatches open, also revealing more details of the gear’s modelling:

All in all, the modelling is testament to the team’s commitment to bring an equally “pro” model to go with the systems, which is touted to be one of the most complex aircraft simulations in the platform, only time will tell. Threshold is following this development closely, stay tuned!
