Ladies and Gentleman, we have even more from VSKYLABS today! They recently announced their upcoming update for their Solar Impulse aircraft, which to say, we are pretty excited for! Here is an update posted by VSKYLABS on their Facebook Page:
- Landing gears modeling and engineering challenge is having a nice progress…configuration and mechanism is so…mind-stressing…
- The cockpit is a combination of the authentic representation of the Si2, but at the same time it is featuring some changes, mostly in the avionics setup. Interiors screenshots will be available soon…
- Here are a few screenshots showing this magnificent aircraft…The canopy is blacked-out to cover the mess inside the under-construction cockpit. Transformation from the 2D cockpit I’ve created for the project, long time ago (project’s genesis) to the VR-Standard 3D representation I’m after was like initiating a modelling/engineering explosion…but it is coming together nicely.”
