Skyline Simulations have been working very hard since the split with Icarus Simulations. The scenery group gave us some more wonderful W.I.P. shots of their two new sceneries, MKJS (Montego Bay, Jamaica) and KCVG (Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky).
KCVG is the first major add-on for Skyline Simulations, modelling the main airport in Cincinnati. In 1999, KCVG was Delta’s second largest hub airport, behind only KATL. Services have been withdrawn from the airport in recent years, receiving “focus city” status in 2015. Approximately 150 flights depart CVG per day, totalling 7,000,000 passengers annually.
Skyline have today showed off more previews on their Facebook page, you can see the post below:
A change I’ve been wanting to make for awhile is the way runway and taxiway edges are handled at KCVG. Previously they’d been simple .pol asphalt textures that lacked in detail. It’s quite apparent that .lin files yield much better results! Enjoy the screenshots below, also showing off the completed Northern Fire Station and Post Office!

Also posted to the Skyline Facebook page, more shots of MKJS Montego Bay. The MKJS scenery is a converted LatinVFR scenery, with all the new bells and whistles available in X-Plane 11 added by Skyline. This is a part of a new partnership formed between the developers.
The post reads;
Our imminent release is on its road again after a period of limited time due to our tight working program! LatinVFR brought us a beautiful and scenic airport in order to deliver it to you via our experience in X-Plane developing. Stay tuned for more news and updates on our page!!!

No release date or price for either of these sceneries as of yet, so stay tuned!
