simHeaven has updated their primary X-Plane product, X-Europe. The update brings the autogen enhancement pack up to V4 with many new features including the latest December 2019 OSM data as well as SAM Seasons compatibility.
X-Europe is an autogen replacement package for Europe, using OSM data to accurately place overhead lines, roads and buildings. The addon also includes custom landmarks like the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. In addition, the library uses library elements from OpenSceneryX to display more dense autogen in urban environments.
Rendering 7 different layers of autogen, the download size has been made as small as possible, although when extracted, the addon will take up 15.4GB of storage, with the download file coming in at 8.2GB.

The developer remarked that users should follow some steps while installing the product. Also recommended is reading the manual upon installation as the scenery_packs.ini file must be structured correctly for the addon to appear as intended.
- You have to install or upgrade to the latest OpenSceneryX library
- if you are using ortho sceneries please change the library.txt in layer 5-scenery
- remove FlyAgi Vegetation library if installed (this is inside)
