X-Plane desktop’s oft-forgotten little brother, X-Plane Mobile, has recently seen a resurgence development time from Laminar Research, who are working on pushing out the anticipated “Global” update, which brings the Android/iOS app more in line with the full sim in that all airports in the world will be implemented.

The last major news on X-Plane Mobile came at FlightSimExpo over the weekend of June 7-9, in which Laminar Research unveiled a raft of changes for the new update. If you’d like to see the news from the Laminar presentation at FSExpo, check out a previous article here.
In a post on Facebook, Laminar developers share a single screenshot of the new airport selection window, compared to the old system which had a limit of five or so scenarios.
“It’s a big new world out there… Time to explore. X-Plane Global Mobile – coming soon.”
