SoFly has released its highly anticipated version of Hannover Airport (EDDV) for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024. The international airport serves over 5 million passengers annually, making it the ninth-largest airport in Germany.

Hannover Airport opened its doors in 1952. In 1973, it expanded with the introduction of two modern passenger terminals, A and B, which are still in operation today. The final terminal, C, was inaugurated in 1998. In the year 2000, the airport was connected by rail to the town of Hamelin through Hannover, and Paderborn was linked by rail a few years later in 2003. Today, Hannover Airport serves as a focus city for several airlines, including Corendon Airlines Europe, Eurowings, and TUI fly Deutschland. With a range of other airlines operating, the airport offers destinations across Europe, accommodating over 5 million passengers each year.
