VFRScenery Announces Walkaround V2 for X-Plane

VFRScenery, the developer of the Walkaround Plugin for X-Plane 11 and 12, has announced that an updated version will be released on March 7th.

Walkaround V2 aims to deliver a comprehensive walkaround experience for both X-Plane 11 and 12. This new version features an immersive audio system, a fully redesigned user interface, and enhanced customisation options for both general aviation aircraft and airliners.

One of the main highlights is the complete integration of the “WalkCabin mode,” which allows users to perform an exterior check, climb stairs, and seamlessly transition into the cabin.

Additional features include an advanced camera system that simulates realistic pilot height, as well as binoculars and a flashlight. There is also a landing rate module that provides commentary from the first officer and displays statistics such as feet per minute (FPM), G-Force, landing speed, and a calculated score.

Walkaround V2 is releasing exclusively on the x-plane.org store on the seventh of March. The update is offered free of charge to owners of the previous version.
