Two days after previewing his latest project in a Threshold exclusive, Pyreegue Dev Co. has released his Airport Layout Enhancement Solution (ALES) on Simmarket. ALES replaces the default texture assets in X-Plane with high quality ones. Textures replaced by ALES include runways, taxilines, helipads, and more.
The feature list for ALES includes;
Replacement textures for:
- Runways
- Draped signs
- Taxilines

- Helipads
Texture features:
- 2K Textures (We did not go for 4K to have the perfect balance between quality and performance)
- Normal maps using X-Plane 11 PBR at its finest
- All taxilines and other lines replaced
- All pavement surfaces replaced
- All draped signs replaced
- Asphalt Runway textures replaced
- Concrete Runway textures replaced
- Asphalt Helipad textures replaced
- Concrete Helipad textures replaced
