Aeroplane Heaven Give Brief Update on Globe Swift for X-Plane

It’s been a while since we last heard about Aeroplane Heaven’s in-development Globe Swift for X-Plane, their first for Laminar’s sim. The popular ESP-platform developer made the jump to XP development in late last year, with the announcement of the Globe Swift, a post-WWII light sport aircraft, in September 2018.

The developers have made it exceedingly clear that the Globe Swift is essentially a test-bed for further aircraft to make the jump in future, as they toy with X-Plane standard features like FMOD sounds.

In a post on Facebook today, Aeroplane Heaven gives us a peak into developing said FMOD sounds for an aircraft:

“So a bloke on here asked about the globe swift for x-plane … and we’re literally going through the model hooking up the sounds to the code… or is it the code to the sounds? The 2 programmes pictured are FMOD (nice easy to use programme wish we had it for FSX/P3D) and Blender.”

You can see more previews of the Globe Swift in our previous article about the announcement of the aircraft from September here.
