Popular developers Axonos have officially announced their next scenery, Jackson Hole Airport. The announcement came through their Discord server, along with a link to preorder the product on Gumroad.
According to the developer, the scenery is “packed full of features”, including things such as “ortho coverage for the area surrounding the airport complete with hand-placed trees and objects”, SAM Seasons integration and snow textures on objects to complete the airport atmosphere.
The developer has stated that the airport includes “top-notch PBR texturing, extremely good performance” and “realistic airport ground [textures] and high-quality valley surroundings”.
Jackson Hole Airport (ICAO: KJAC, IATA: JAC) is located 11 kilometres north of Jackson, in Teton County, Wyoming. In 2019, it was the busiest Wyoming airport by passenger traffic with 455,000 people passing through its singular terminal that year. It is famously the only commercial airport in the United States located entirely inside of a national park, and is served by airlines such as Delta Air Lines, American Airlines, United Airlines and Alaska Airlines.
