AUscene continues on their Australian development voyage with the latest stop to Chris Hemsworth’s fortress hometown: Byron Bay. The real location is a beatific beachside enclave situated near the Queensland border on the northeastern corner of the state of New South Wales, The town is a popular destination for both domestic and international travellers, with a significant prevalance of backpackers. The area is known for its beaches, which attracts surfers and skydivers.
The airport is a local gateway for the region, and for AUscene’s airprot rendition in Microsoft Flight Simulator, a chance for curious virtual pilots to explore the area. The airfield is painstakingly recreated for the simulator, featuring bespoke modelling and texturing of the highest calibre of detail.
