Onfinal Studios Preview Brønnøysund Airport for MSFS

Onfinal Studios took to their facebook page this morning announcing the development of Brønnøysund Airport (ENBN) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. This follows their post regarding their 2021 roadmap last Wednesday.

While not much has been shared regarding their current project, images showcasing the scenery show that a lot of work has gone into it. The 3d buildings have been closely modeled to replicate the real life ones with realistic texturing and models. The developers have however given some basic information regarding the airport on their website stating, “Brønnøysund Airport is a small regional airport located in Brønnøy, Norway with beautiful natural surroundings”. Customers of this airport can expect some beautiful flights out of this airport as it is located on a series of small islands in Northern Norway:

The real airport is the second-busiest regional airport in Norway, serving 117,471 passengers in 2017, serving the southern part of Helgeland. With a single 1,700m long runway, the airport sees regular propliner services with the likes of Widerøe’s Q400s a regular sight, Widerøe is the only airline providing scheduled service to and from the airport. Apart from aircraft, the airport’s servives are complimented by helicopter flights to Norne and oil rigs in the Norwegian Sea by CHC Helikopter Service.

OnFinal has not disclosed any information regarding a features list yet or any information regarding possible prices, discounts for existing customers or a release date. You can check out the original post on the developers Facebook page.
