Polish developer Drzewiecki Design has been taking a world tour since the release of Microsoft Flight Simulator back in August, visiting locations as diverse as Russia and now the United States with their Landmarks series.
They’ve also released a freeware package covering a number of airports surrounding the city of Warsaw, serving as a testing of the waters in Microsoft Flight Simulator.

“Chicago Landmarks MSFS is a unique experience and one of the most detailed city sceneries ever created for flight simulators. It has been developed to provide the immersion into the cityscape of Chicago at a level never seen before.”
“Keeping in mind a unique role the city has played in the flight sim community for many years, we have decided to put special attention not only to the greatest landmarks but to every downtown building.
“Buildings have detailed shapes, PBR materials, epic night textures. Our product cleverly merges with default MSFS photogrammetry.”

Over 2000 of these buildings have been placed in the scenery according to Drzewiecki Design, including bridges, stadiums and marinas. “All [are] FPS-friendly, with epic night textures and PBR materials,” the developer says.
A total of seventeen custom heliports have also been included in the scenery, futureproofing the scenery for the eventual addition of helicopters to Microsoft Flight Simulator.
You can purchase Drzewiecki Design’s Chicago Landmarks pack for EUR 17.00 from simMarket.
