Popular aircraft and scenery developer Aerosoft have partnered with Stairport and released their East Frisian Islands for Microsoft Flight Simulator. This is their first scenery of this sort for the new simulator, and it includes all islands “from Norderney over Langeoog to Borkum” in great detail.
The scenery was originally available for X-Plane 11 and Microsoft Flight Simulator X, and since the original announcement in early October Aerosoft have been working hard on preparing for release.


The scenery can be purchased for $30.75 on Aerosoft’s website and a list of the minimum requirements can be found on the same page.
Aerosoft have also included a full feature list, which is as follows:
- Realistic replica of the East Frisian islands Borkum, Juist, Noderney, Baltrum, Langeoog, Spiekeroog, Kachelotplate, Memmert, Minsener Oog and Mellum
- Color corrected Orthophoto coverage of all airfields
- Manually tuned vegetation
- Relevant landmarks, e.g. lighthouses, beacons, restaurants, harbour buildings, beach chairs etc.
