iniScene Teases Kerry Airport for MSFS

Shortly after iniScene’s latest release, iniBuild’s scenery branch is back and has recently announced a conversion and rework of Boundless Simulations’ Kerry Airport for MSFS. The scenery provides users with an international airport in the midst of Ireland, seeking to provide users with the opportunity to experience what it’s like to fly within the heart of Ireland. Whether you enjoy flying hops in airliners to larger hubs, or small general aviation aircraft, the scenery has something to offer for every type of pilot.

Kerry airport (sometimes referred to as Farranfore Airport) is an international airport located in County Kerry, in South-West Ireland. The airport is mainly served by Ryanair, connecting residents in the area with the large hub in Dublin, but similarly bringing tourists into the area. The airport features a 2000m long runway, providing for a challenging landing which requires careful planning.

For this rendition, the airport is a comprehensively redeveloped iteration of a previous Boundless release. Reauthored for MSFS, and in true iniScene fashion, many hours have gone into faithfully replicating all the buildings and ground equipment the airport houses.Furthermore, the developer has put an equal amount of attention to the interior, with an appropriately detailed recreation of the terminal’s insides, leaving little to be desired on the modelling side of things.

iniScene has yet to provide any information on the airport, nor has a release date been given. But as always, Threshold will keep you updated. The teaser post can be found in the iniBuilds discord server.
