Drzewiecki Design has recently released their Krakow John Paul II International airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator, Krakow is one of the oldest permanent airports in Europe – the airport has also a designated area for light aircraft of the Polish Aviation Museum. As per usual Drzewiecki fashion, it’s a beautifully crafted rendition of the real airport, a handworked conversion of the same airport released for X-Plane 11 and Prepar3d.

Krakow is the second busiest airport in Poland, serving the city of the same name. The airport enjoys rapidly growing passenger numbers, It was the 63rd busiest airport in Europe and had the greatest increase in passengers in all of Europe in 2019 with a 24.2% passenger increase, but that went down to just 2.5 million, a 69% decrease.. because of you know why. Nevertheless, this will be a significant traffic-magnet for the virtual European pilot, with great route opportunities to and from Krakow.

Drzweiecki Design provided various features of the scenery, all are standard-issue of the modern scenery product in MSFS.
