JustSim Release Heraklion for Microsoft Flight Simulator

Over on Simmarket, JustSim has released Heraklion “Nikos Kazantzakis” (LGIR) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The airport, located on the southern Greek island of Crete, is one of the busiest in the country, and a tourist hotspot for those wanting to visit the many beaches and resorts of the island. The airport is served by almost every major European airline, with the summer season attracting almost 10 million passengers.

The airport is becoming so busy, in fact, that it is soon to be replaced entirely by a new airport in Kasteli, set to open in 2024. However, whilst it lasts, pilots can enjoy either the beautiful sea approaches or the scenic approach over the city of Heraklion.

Following the standard of previous releases from the developer, JustSim seems to have not provided a full feature list for this release, however looking at the screenshots provided, there seems to be the standard high-quality ground textures and polygons, static ground clutter, and some hand-placed ships in the surrounding water.

JustSims Heraklion is now available on SimMarket for 21.12EUR however there is a discount for previous owners of JustSim LGIR for P3D (10.56EUR) or owners of JustSim LGIR for XP11 (14.40EUR)
