Nimbus Simulation Studios, famous for sceneries such as KATL, KPHX and KORD have branched out into the helicopter business, releasing a YouTube video an upcoming project, the Huey.
Huey is the nickname of the Bell UH-1 Iroquois, a military-spec utility helicopter. Introduced in 1956, the Huey was produced up until 1987 – however it is still in service today. 11 countries still use the Huey, with the most notable of which are the United States, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. It played a major role in carrying troops and supplies during the Vietnam War (1955-1975) with over 30 variants in the US Army alone.
Nimbus posted a video of their Huey landing in a grass field to their Facebook page this morning. No other information was provided.
You can find the Nimbus Facebook page here, and the video of the Huey here.
