Northern Sky Studio has recently released their rendition of Petersburg James A. Johnson Airport (PAPG) for Microsoft Flight Simulator, serving the Alaskan city of Petersburg with a yearly average of 13,042 passengers.

It was built in 1947 as a seaplane base for the US Army, converted to a land airport five years later, and named after a local businessman and politician.

It’s served by Alaska Airlines (Juneau, Wrangell) and Alaska Seaplanes (Juneau, Kake, Sitka, Wrangell), with Juneau being the busiest destination as of 2015-2016.

The scenery features an accurate rendition of the airport, with an up-to-date ground layout, PBR materials, high-resolution building textures, custom orthophoto for the airport and surroundings, and more.

It’s available on SimMarket for roughly $11.78, requiring at least 2.57 GB of free hard disk space to install.
