Released: 3D Matterhorn Park

The long awaited, beautiful creation by Frank Dainese and Fabio Bellini has finally arrived, the Matterhorn Park!

For now, you can get it at the X-Plane.org store!

Here’s an excerpt from the store description:

“It features  the two famous tourist and ski resorts Breuil-Cervinia (Italy) and Zermatt-Tasch (Switzerland), starting point for the ascension to the Matterhorn. From a mountaineering point of view, the Matterhorn is a must-see for every mountaineer.

Zermatt and Cervinia regions completely rebuilt  using a method of positioning polygons-textures, appropriately designed for the characteristics of the territory.(Without the use of orthophotos).

The 2 cities (Cervinia and Zermatt) built  using more than one hundred types of 3D buildings typical of mountain areas.

Includes two small aifields (Cervinia and Tasch-Zermatt) for short flights with small aircraft.

Added 10 more Helipad for take-off / landing helicopters see ICAO codes.

IL Matterhorn was reconstructed on a DEM (digital elevation model) at 5m. and subsequently processed.

Textures based on 4k (4096×4096) for greater realism.
