Update: HungaryVFR + recap & future

Released a few hours ago, HungaryVFR’s first public beta is now available on X-Plane.org covering the entire country in detail.

Available to download in individual packages (you don’t have to install all of the scenery), it divides the country into individual airport areas and an overlay of the entire country; a highly customised W2XP scenery using OSM data. One of the main highlights is the includion of custom coded fireworks animations; at every August 20th from 8pm to 9pm there is a firework display, just like in real life. Utilising SASL v3 with a week of coding and testing, it is without a doubt a very simple idea but executed ingeniously.

Information:

In regards to the near future of HungaryVFR, Gergely, one of the 4 developers has informed us that the next step is to update the existing sceneries and making the entire product compliant with TerraMaxx (new Seasons plugin) as soon as possible, and release their next airports (such as LHUD).
