Saso Kiselkov of Better Pushback fame has worked with Goran Matovina (Leading Edge Simulations) on a brand new TBM900, a 50/50 venture between the two. Goran will be responsible for the visual modelling (textures and 3d mesh), while Saso will be programming the systems (for about a year now). Development seems to be going at a steady pace and the aim is to finish and have the TBM900 out within the summer this year.
The HotStart TBM 900 will be a high-fidelity simulation of the TBM 900 high-performance single-engine turboprop aircraft. The model features a persistence system and wear & tear on all aircraft components to simulate the experience of owning and caring for the aircraft. All simulation state is fully persisted across reloads, so performing proper shutdown and cleanup after a flight is imperative.
