X-Planers could enjoy another addition to the list of UK Airports as UK2000 has announced that their East Midlands Xtreme scenery is to be available for X-Plane very soon. Matt Cox is the developer behind the scenery ports, in which he posted a few hours ago of the scenery’s announcement on Facebook: LINK
Feature list:
- Custom Light fx’s and halo’s.
- Custom Taxiways so you can see the stand you are selecting in the UI.
- Ground routes for AI (Coming soon™)
- Physical Based Rendering on terminals
- There could also be more features to come in the future!
Scenery looks to be a good representation of the real life airport, although it doesn’t seem to take full advantage of X-Plane’s scenery features in particular the groundwork. We can only see what’s to come upon release, Especially the last remark on the feature list.
