VATSIM Confirms the Airports for the Cross The Land Westbound Event

The well-known online network VATSIM has gone to their Twitter page to announce the airports for February’s Cross The Land Westbound (CTLW) event. Involving both airports in the Middle East, and Europe.

Cross the Land is one of the most notable events occurring on the network, with the last CTL event taking place in October of last year. With many pilots from around the globe flying on the network to a list of pre-determined airports, the list for CTLW has been released. The list includes a variety of Middle Eastern and European airports, which are shown below.

Included in this list are some very well-known airports such as Dubai and Geneva. However, lesser-known airports have been thrown into the mix to give adventurous pilots a challenge, while also accommodating pilots that are more comfortable flying into larger airports.

As of today, VATSIM has disclosed to its pilots that slots for the event will open up fairly soon. Any further details regarding slot openings will be on the VATSIM Cross the Land Twitter Page.
